This post is designed to give you a visual represntation of the various styles used throughout this website. Your website is based on a stylesheet to keep your website looking sharp and uniform. You do not need to highlight text and choose a different font. The stylesheet chooses the font for you. There are many things controlled by the stylesheet which includes the elements below:

This is a callout. Use a brief call-out to bring attention to your point.

Why should you break up the text in this fashion? The main reason is when your visitors are reading long portions of text, it is important to give them an opportunity to rest their eyes. This rest is best accomplished by emphasizing the main topic of your paragraph with a callout or by simply adding a picture or illustration. Eyes have a tendency to drift while reading. Larger paragraphs are difficult to comprehend when eyes drift. Callouts are a great way to add interest to the page while reinforcing the main points.

This is Heading 1 Style

When constructing your page, organize it with Headings. These headings are useful in that they help the reader comprehend the structure and flow of your argument. When you have a Heading 1, avoid the temptation to simply stack it on top of the next heading. Take some time to introduce it with a brief paragraph.

This is the Heading 2 Style

Now, we have introduced the next level heading. This appears uniform and gives the reader a subpoint.

This is the H3 Style

This is probaby the lowest level you will ever want to use. While good structure is helpful in guiding the reader through your argument, too much structure and deep leveled arguments will be too much for the average reader.
